Spent a magical morning doing a stress-free and fun in-home newborn photography session with this beautiful Edina family. Baby Scarlett was loving the camera. 🙂 The morning light perfectly captured her sweet little features and calm open eyes. In fact, morning is typically the best time to do a newborn photography session as I talked about in a previous blog post.
I know that having a newborn is crazy busy (been there 3 times!). Which is why most families like the newborn photography session in their home. That way they don’t need to pack everything up and get out the door at a certain time. I also love it because it adds a personal and fun touch to your photos. If you’re wondering how to best prepare for a stress-free and fun in-home newborn photography session, I have some tips and tricks ready for you! Including what you should have on hand to make your newborn (and you!) most comfortable.
Getting back to baby Scarlett, some of my favorite photos from this session is big brother sneaking in some snuggles and love from his new little sister. Plus, how amazing is it to see how big Dad’s hands are in relation to his little sweetheart and how this little lady fits perfectly in Mom’s arms?! And of course we can’t leave out big furry brother going in for some sweet kisses. It’s such a privilege to capture these special moments that your family will cherish for years to come.
Are you expecting a new bundle of joy? Let’s chat! As 5-18 days after birth is usually the best time to have your newborn photography session. 🙂
